How does the treatment proceed?

The treatment begins with a thorough cleansing of the skin. Then, dead skin cells and vellus hairs are removed in a gentle and controlled manner using a sterile blade. After that, the skin is treated with a soothing serum or mask and finished with a protective SPF.

Who is dermaplaning suitable for?

Dermaplaning is suitable for almost all skin types, especially for dull skin, dry skin, or skin with uneven texture. The treatment is less suitable for active acne, open wounds, or inflammations.

Does the treatment hurt?

No. Dermaplaning is a painless and relaxing treatment. Most clients only experience a slight scraping sensation on the skin.

Do the hairs grow back darker or thicker?

No. This is a persistent myth. The fine vellus hairs grow back with the same colour, thickness, and texture as before the treatment.

Result and aftercare

After the treatment, the skin feels immediately smoother and looks fresher and more radiant. The result remains visible for an average of 3 to 4 weeks. For optimal results, a treatment every 4 weeks is recommended.
